What it is

The Town commissioned a Service Level Review of the Parks Department, reported to Council on November 20, 2024.

The recommendation was to add 0.8 of a full-time post from 2025 and put $100,000 a year into the 2025–2029 Financial Plan, so that extra service requests could be handled as part of the regular work plan.

At the December 11, 2024 meeting Council first postponed discussion to later in the same meeting, and then, when it came back, postponed the decision itself to a future Council meeting. Both were unanimous.
